"What love?" Oishi asked Eiji. His boyfriend was so mercurial that he went from sexy and laughing, to suddenly thoughtful, then to being in tears, while still smiling in less than a full second. It was as if not even Eiji's own mouth could keep up with his ever-changing emotions.

Eiji looked at him for a long moment. It was as if he was trying to memorize Oishi's face for some reason. Then he shook his head as if dismissing a thought and he smiled looking very happy again although he looked surprised as well. "Nya, I...I just...I just really love you, Oishi."

Oh. Was that all? It was as if Eiji just realized again how much he truly loved him. It was adorable. He was adorable. Oishi felt that little warm feeling in his heart he had whenever Eiji touched him there. The thought of Eiji being sick or Oishi ever being without him was too terrible to even consider. Even the thought of Eiji, adorable as a little boy and sick broke Oishi's heart. Oishi knew he would think about it later. He would sort it all out later. He found he had to right now mentally push it away and just be with Eiji as he wanted and seemed to need. Oishi also suspected that Eiji, like him, was still processing everything they had talked about earlier and only now he was starting to understand that Oishi meant what he said. Oishi was not going to leave Eiji. Ever. Oishi kissed him. "Good, because I just really love you too, Eiji."

For a moment Eiji looked at him as if seeing if Oishi was making fun of him. He wasn't. After everything Eiji told him all Oishi felt was an overwhelming need to love him. He wanted to be as close as possible to him and to make him feel good. Oishi waited for Eiji to realize the position they were in and see what he wanted to do about it. Oishi really couldn't think coherently at this point and tried to so he could hold himself back just an instant longer from coming. He didn't want to end the moment without understanding what it was Eiji needed him to. One. One? What could he mean? One what? Oishi thought of their breaths coming together synchronized and their hearts beating together and he thought he knew. "One. One person?" Eiji kissed him and nodded as if wishing desperately for Oishi to understand but not being able to talk. Oishi thrust again inside him and Eiji met his thrust. They both suddenly stopped moving. Any movement and he would come. He was that close. So was Eiji. Too close and this right now, this moment, he saw it mattered a great deal to Eiji.

They looked at each other. Both of them were panting hard with their breath and bodies still together and harmonized. Oishi thought about the books Eiji read and his beliefs in fairytales and promises. Eiji believed that everyone should always be saved by the person they loved and that people should always end up living happily together forever. Oishi realized that after what Eiji told him, after what he imagined Eiji had been through as a child, that was just how Eiji lived. And loved. Eiji needed to believe in that. Especially about them. He needed to hear and believe that they would be together forever. Oishi felt inside his own heart and he found he already felt the same. He already believed that they would be. Eiji had given him that beautiful belief along with everything else he had given him.

Giving a little of it back when Eiji needed to hear it was a welcome act of loving him back. Oishi smiled a little at how very much he loved him and he knew what Eiji needed him to say. "Eiji, there's nothing between us, love. I'm inside you and you're inside me. I'm part of you and you're part of me. One. One breath, one heart, one soul. I love you forever."

Eiji looked at him for an instant and then closed his eyes slowly like he did when he did that long slow blink when something turned him on or touched his heart. This time though, he kept his eyes closed and Oishi felt him sag a little against him, into him. It was almost as if Eiji was feeling the words throughout his body and couldn't move because of them. Oishi instinctively held him up and against him while he held them both up with his other arm. He noticed how whenever he made Eiji feel safe and good, it made him feel strong. A strange and pleasurable side effect to loving him.

Eiji turned back to kiss him again and he was smiling but Oishi saw he had tears in his eyes. "One." Eiji said and Oishi nodded. "Forever Oishi, that's how I love you too." Eiji said and then kissed him again as if to seal it. Somehow, during the kiss, they were back to being two people again. The spell was broken but not the moment or any of the magic that Eiji controlled. Oishi wondered at him while he continued kissing him.

Oishi also noticed that Eiji during the kiss now changed his smile over to a wicked grin with tears still in his eyes from a second ago. Oishi knew Eiji was going to do something and before he could even ready himself, Eiji did. He impossibly somehow tipped his hips and lowered his shoulders so that their angle was even more pleasurably changed. He moved harder against Oishi and he laughed at Oishi's surprised moan. Eiji put Oishi's hand that had held him up a moment ago back on his erection, stroking himself with Oishi's hand a little faster and harder than Oishi had been. Oishi smiled. "Do I look at you a lot like that?" Eiji nodded and looked aggravated. "I was thinking at first how handsome and sexy you look right now." He saw Eiji's look. "No, seriously, I was." He touched Eiji's face with his hand and ran his thumb over Eiji's kiss swollen, sexy mouth. "Very sexy." He murmured and then kissed him. Eiji went to pull back but he must have realized Oishi meant it and leaned into the kiss.

Eiji did pull back after a while though. He said a little breathlessly after the long lingering kiss, "Hoi, what else?" Oishi must have looked confused, he had lost himself and his thoughts in the kiss. "Nya! You said at first you thought that." Eiji insisted.

Oishi smiled again. "Thank you for reminding me." He kissed Eiji lightly and pulled back so Eiji didn't think he was just trying to distract him. "Then I was thinking of what you said and what I said. One. Being a part of each other. I love you Kikumaru Eiji. I love you more than anything. But its more than even just that, Eiji I love you in that forever, two old men kind of way." Oishi touched his hand along the side of Eiji's face and had a sense of them seeing each other age and grow old together. Of seeing every laugh line Eiji earned in his life and holding him close when they slept every night. It filled Oishi's heart up with such peace, happiness, and love it was almost overwhelming. "So when I look at you like this Eiji, every time, that's what I'm thinking." Oishi kissed him softly. "I love you. With everything that I have and everything that I am and everything that I will ever be, Eiji I love you."

Eiji looked surprised at him and then pulled him close and held him hard. Oishi felt him trembling slightly and was annoyed because he thought Eiji was laughing at him. It took a moment for him to realize that Eiji wasn't laughing, he actually was crying even though he made no noise. Oishi felt terrible. He wanted to make him feel good not make him cry. He tried to figure out what he had done wrong. Eiji then turned his face up and looked at Oishi. He laughed then and kissed him. He must have seen Oishi looking concerned and confused. "Nya Oishi, I'm happy. You made me really happy. Nya, I don't know why I'm crying but I can't stop." Eiji gave a half laugh and a half sob which made Oishi laugh too. "I love you in the forever two old men way too Oishi. I really..." Eiji couldn't say anything right then because he was crying so hard and then he started laughing at the same time.

Oishi laughed with him and kissed him. "Shh..." He said in between kisses, "You don't have to say anything. Its okay love, I know. Shh..." He kissed Eiji for a long time. It felt like pleasurable hours of kissing but Oishi knew not to contemplate actual time with Eiji. Even time stopped to matter with him. Oishi kissed his tears, his face, and his lips. Eiji at one point like a little kid went to wipe his nose on his sleeve forgetting for a moment he had nothing on. They both laughed and Oishi held his hand away and kissed him anyway, not even caring because it was all Eiji so it didn't matter. They both laughed at that and kissed a little longer.

After a long while of kissing and touching each other they started to move together again. It was slow and soft and gentle and Oishi smiled when Eiji finally noticed he was more inside him and they were moving. Eiji smiled back at him, "Hmm...Oishi, you knew." He said with a little laugh and a soft purring sigh as he felt very good again. They lay on their sides and Eiji wrapped himself around Oishi even putting his leg that would have been on the bottom of them up around Oishi's shoulder again. Oishi smiled knowing no one he knew but Eiji would be comfortable or capable of it. Side by side was a very nice position.

Eiji kissed him and held him close, "Hmm...love you Oishi...love you...love you..." Eiji said it softly over and over again as they kissed and moved. Eiji touched Oishi all over, pulling him closer to him, and met his thrusts.

Each time Oishi moved inside him he whispered back, "I love you Eiji...I love you...I love you..."

They didn't need to say anything. So they just watched each other, thought their own thoughts, held the other close, and smiled for a long time.
