Oshitari is known as the prodigy of Hyoutei, much like Fuji is to Seigaku. Another thing that he has in common with Fuji is that he can do the Higuma Otoshi. Oshitari is Mukahi's doubles partner and is good enough to keep the pair of them going even when Mukahi's acrobatics get him into trouble. His main weakness is his inability to adapt his playing style. In a recent practice match against Seigaku, Fuji showed that he was in fact the better player.
