Tezuka is the captain of the Seigaku Tennis Team. He is generally quiet and is rather strict when it comes to the rules (can be most frequently seen telling people to run laps). He had his elbow injured the previous year, but had made a recovery thanks to Oishi's uncle. During his match with Atobe Keigo however, he injured his shoulder and is currently on leave for treatment. In the anime he is in Germany while in the manga he is in Kyuushu
